We are seeking a volunteer undergraduate researcher to work on a project involving analysis of human electrocardiograms and calculation of vector cardiograms. These types of clinical measurements are indicators of electrical activity in the heart, and are used in a variety of research applications including computational model validation and clinical data analysis of heart disease. The specific research project will involve testing and advancing computer methods for digitizing and analysis of patient ECGs, including data sets from congenital heart patients and adults with heart failure. There will be opportunities to interact with collaborating clinical faculty in Cardiology. Some programming experience in MATLAB and Python is desirable. Commitment of at least 10 hours/week for at least 3-4 months.
